Therapeutic Services
Many people feel stuck in their lives. Like there’s something missing or there’s something there that shouldn’t be. Many of us spend our lives lost in thought or worry with a mind that doesn’t seem to have an off switch. I use evidence-based treatments to help individuals who are feeling stuck or unable to move forward in their lives.
I specialize in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am here to help you find YOU again. As a licensed professional counselor, I work collaboratively with you to find solutions that work best for your life. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. You are your own unique person and I am here to help you find your own path.
I know how much strength and courage it takes to reach out for help. I am truly inspired by every person who walks through my door and allows me to help them on their journey towards healing. I am not here to tell you how to live your life. I am just here to help you enjoy it. Reaching out is the first step; I’ll help you with the rest.
Services Provided
I provide both in-person and teletherapy to late adolescents and adults.
Cognitive Processing Therapy
CPT is mostly used for treating post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD. CPT is a structured therapy that involves 12 or more sessions. The goal of CPT is to change beliefs and behaviors that have resulted from trauma.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression and anxiety disorders. Numerous research studies suggest that CBT leads to significant improvement in functioning and quality of life.
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
TF-CBT is an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents impacted by trauma. It is a components-based treatment model that incorporates trauma-sensitive interventions with cognitive behavioral, family, and humanistic principles and techniques.
Solution-Focused Therapy
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a short-term, goal-focused, evidence-based therapeutic approach, which incorporates positive psychology principles and practices, and which helps clients change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on problems.
LPC Supervision
I provide individual and group supervision to South Carolina LPC candidates.
